RESEARCH
For the F1H2O World Championship, my work started with an in-depth research phase focused on understanding the visual language of international motorsport and the communication needs of a global racing series.
The championship hosts events across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, which required studying different audiences, cultural contexts, and venue environments.
I analyzed previous race visuals, sponsor visibility requirements, and how graphics needed to perform across multiple platforms — from digital channels to large-scale physical installations in the paddock. The goal was to ensure a strong, recognizable identity that could work consistently across web, social media, event spaces, and printed materials while maintaining the high-energy aesthetic typical of motorsport.
DESIGN
Based on the research insights, I developed a visual system that could adapt to different formats while maintaining a coherent identity for the championship events.
The design work included graphics for digital platforms such as the website and social media, as well as event-specific materials used during international races. Particular attention was given to clarity, impact, and scalability, ensuring that the visuals remained strong whether viewed on a mobile screen or on large paddock installations.
Key design outputs included:
Web and social media graphics for race promotion and event communication
Paddock and trackside visuals such as flags, banners, and signage
Editorial layouts for magazines and printed event materials
Merchandising graphics for official championship products
The design language focused on speed, energy, and visual consistency, reinforcing the dynamic identity of the F1H2O championship.
DEVELOPMENT
In the development phase, the visual concepts were translated into final production-ready assets for multiple platforms and environments.
Each design element was optimized according to its final application from digital formats used online to large-scale print materials used during international race events. This included preparing files for high-resolution printing, adapting layouts for different event locations, and ensuring brand consistency across all visual touchpoints.
The result was a flexible graphic system capable of supporting the championship’s communication needs throughout the racing season, across different continents and media channels from web and social platforms to paddock installations and official merchandise.
